Secretum Meum Mihi is Latin for "My Secret is Mine"
Edith Stein (St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross) was a Jewish philosopher in Germany who became a Carmelite nun in 1934, but was murdered at Auschwitz. “Secretum meum mihi,” was her cryptic response when her best friend asked why she became a Catholic in 1922. She is our patroness at My Secret is Mine.
St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross understood that our hearts contain a secret that only God can help us work out. Many times, we have secrets we don’t know how to share even with those we love. Jesus came to help us find healing and wholeness, to be relieved of our burdens and embrace the abundance of His Love.
Jesus is the Messiah, the Holy One of Israel – and He makes all lives new!
St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, pray for us!
